Ticketing · Project management · Time tracking · Client timesheets
One ticket system for support, projects, and billable time.
SAQ is a simple ticketing and project tool for consultancies and teams of every kind. Support requests, project tasks, and bugs in one system. Work alone, or with your collaborators. If you track time, every closed month becomes a finished timesheet.

Who it is for
Built for teams that need structure in their work
All your work in one place: tickets, projects, a kanban board, and search. When someone from outside needs in, whether clients, partners, or another department, you add them as client users. They are free, and they see only what they should. A support mailbox, time tracking, and timesheets are there when you need them.
Consultancies and agencies
Projects across different clients on different terms. Generate timesheets automatically.
IT service providers
A support mailbox, retainers, and project work – all in one place. Set up support agreements, time banks, and hourly rates.
Software teams with clients
Bugs, feature requests, and a client who wants to see progress without joining your internal tools.
Internal teams
Requests from the rest of the organization, your own projects, and hours you still want counted. Rates and timesheets are there if you need them, and out of the way if you do not.
How it works
From request to timesheet in three steps
Every piece of work becomes a ticket with its own page, where the conversation, attachments, and hours come together. You reach that ticket wherever you work: in email, on the kanban board for the whole workspace or for a single project, through search, or via the API.
-
Work comes in
A client emails your support address, logs in and creates a ticket, or your team adds one. An AI agent can create tickets through the API. Each one lands on the board, in the column for its state, with a kind, a priority, and one assignee.
-
The right users see the right things
Every comment is shared with the client, internal to the project, or staff only, and the composer shows who will see it before you send. Clients follow their own tickets by magic link and get email when something changes.
-
Time becomes a timesheet
Users log time on the tickets they work on. When the month closes, the billing run prices the hours with the client's rate card, draws retainer hours from their time bank, and produces a timesheet as PDF, HTML, and CSV.
Features
What does SAQ do well?
Six things most teams need every day, done properly and ready from day one.
-
Ticket management
Support requests, bugs, and project tasks in one system, each with a workflow, priorities, labels, links, and attachments.
-
Project management and boards
Projects, boards, parent tickets as epics and milestones, dependencies, and a My work page. Nothing you have to configure for weeks.
-
Client collaboration
Clients follow their own tickets by magic link at no cost. Every comment is written for a role: shared with the client, internal to the project, or staff only.
-
Time tracking and timesheets
Log time on the ticket you are working on. A weekly grid, reports, and periods that close permanently, so the basis for an invoice can be verified long after it was sent.
-
Billing, rate cards, and time banks
Rate cards per client, paid, free, or retainer-covered work per ticket kind, and a client timesheet as PDF, HTML, and CSV.
-
Email inbox
Connect your Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox. Incoming mail becomes a ticket, and every reply from either side lands in that same conversation.

Security and privacy
Can I trust SAQ with client data?
SAQ is designed so that one workspace can never read another, so that every privileged action leaves a trace, and so that nothing tracks you. The security overview is written for whoever signs off on new tools.
Hosted in the EU
Servers, object storage, and backups in EU regions. No tenant data leaves the EU.
Isolated workspaces
PostgreSQL row-level security on every tenant table, enforced for the application itself, not only in code.
Strong login
Passkeys, two-factor codes, breached-password checks, and single sign-on with forced SSO per verified domain.
Audit trail
Every privileged action, including operator access, is written to an append-only log with who, what, and why.
No tracking
No analytics, no third-party cookies, no consent banner. The public site sets no cookies at all.
Your data stays yours
Owners export the whole workspace with attachments and documents, and can delete it themselves.

FAQ
Common questions before you choose SAQ
What is SAQ?
SAQ is a web-based ticket system with project management, time tracking, and client billing built in. Support requests, bugs, and project tasks are one ticket type. Your team logs time on the ticket, and each closed period becomes a timesheet your client can download. It is developed by ArktIQ IT AS in Tromsø, Norway, and hosted in the EU.
Who is SAQ for?
Any team that wants support requests, project work, and hours in one place. It fits consultancies, IT service providers, agencies, and software teams well, and works just as well for a team with no external clients at all. Your own staff are workspace users; anyone you bring in from outside is a client user, and they are free.
What does SAQ replace?
Typically a helpdesk for support, a project tool for planning, a spreadsheet for hours, and the manual work of turning all three into something a client can be billed for. SAQ is not an invoicing or accounting system, and it is not a CRM.
Does SAQ include time tracking?
Yes. Time is logged on tickets as a date, an optional start time, and a duration. There is a weekly grid per person, reports by person, project, ticket, client, and outcome, and periods (months or weeks) close for good so figures never change afterwards.
Can SAQ be used for project management?
Yes. Projects have members, boards with your workflow states, parent tickets that act as epics or milestones, dependencies, estimates with rollups, start and due dates, priorities, and labels. Gantt charts and resource planning are not there yet.
How does ticket management work?
Everything is a ticket, with a kind (support, bug, planning, implementation, or your own), a state from your workflow, one assignee, and any number of viewers. Tickets come from email, from clients who log in, from your team, or from an AI agent through the API, and all of them open the same ticket page.
How is customer data handled?
Each workspace is isolated at the database row level, every privileged action is logged, and there is no analytics or tracking on the site or in the app. Servers, storage, and backups are in the EU. ArktIQ IT acts as processor for workspace content under a data processing agreement published on this site.
What does SAQ cost?
SAQ is priced per workspace per month, in NOK excluding VAT, on three plans, by card. Client users, contacts, and AI agent accounts are never counted. Every plan starts with a 30-day trial. Current prices are on the pricing page.
